About Us

Building Skills for Employment, Entrepreneurship, and Sustainable Livelihoods

Mustaqbal Technical School (MTS) is a technical training institution located in Kabasa IDP Camp  in Doolow District, Gedo Region, Somalia. The institution was established to respond to the growing  need for technical skills development, youth empowerment, and sustainable livelihood opportunities  among internally displaced persons (IDPs) and vulnerable host communities.

MTS was founded with a strong commitment to restoring hope, dignity, and self-reliance among

Somali youth whose education and livelihoods were disrupted by decades of conflict, displacement,  poverty, and limited access to quality education and employment opportunities.

As one of the pioneering post-secondary vocational institutions in Doolow District, Mustaqbal  Technical School is dedicated to equipping young people, women, and marginalized groups with  practical and market-driven skills that enhance employability, entrepreneurship, resilience, and  economic sustainability.

The institution operates under the registration and policy framework of the Ministry of Education of  Jubbaland State of Somalia.

At Mustaqbal Technical School, learners and instructors work together in a dynamic environment that promotes technical excellence, innovation, and personal growth.
